Dr. Sean Maguire

Dr. Sean Maguire grew up in the Southwest and graduated from Washington University in St. Louis. He attended University of Louisville School of Medicine where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1991. While in medical school he was awarded The Merck Manual prize for academic achievement, the George Udhe award in head and neck surgery and he was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha, the prestigious medical honor society.

Dr. Maguire completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at University of Louisville, becoming chief resident in 1996 and was board certified in that specialty in 1997. He completed a residency in Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery at University of Cincinnati in 1998, passing both written and oral board exams in 2002. In 2002 Dr. Maguire did a fellowship in aesthetic and laser surgery with Dr. S. Larry Schlesinger in Maui, Hawaii.

In addition to extensive clinical experience in plastic surgery, Dr. Maguire has written extensively, publishing numerous scientific articles, book chapters and research papers. Most recently he contributed to important research on face transplantation with University of Louisville School of Medicine scientists.

Dr. Maguire has a passion for aesthetic plastic surgery with special expertise in non-invasive cosmetic treatments including Botox, dermal fillers and laser surgery. He is certified by Allergan as a Platinum-Plus provider of Botox and he is on the national speaker’s panel for SkinMedica.
 

Jolene Boswell

Jolene H. Boswell PA-C graduated from Millikin University and attended graduate school at St Louis University where she completed the Physician Assistant Medical Science degree in 1985. She has been in practice since that time, her most recent position was with an ENT Head and Neck surgical practice for twelve years. She brings an excellent knowledge of the facial structures to our practice and has completed numerous seminars and accredited workshops on facial sculpting inclusive of Botox / Dysport, dermal fillers, and lasers.

For the past four years Ms. Boswell has been the Director of Hormone Solutions Naturally, providing bioidentical hormone therapy replacement to both men and women. She is trained and certified by Dr. Gino Tutera who is the founder of the Sottopelle hormone replacement therapy method and is the sole provider of this method in Kentucky. She is committed to helping people look their best as well as feel their best.
 

Margee Ferris

Margee Ferris is the Clinical Coordinator at Physician’s Center for Beauty.  She has a Masters Degree in Education.  Recognizing a distinct need for a truly honest & professional source of information for skincare, she set out to become a master in the field of skincare and non-surgical aesthetic procedures.

Paula McQueen

Paula McQueen is the lead aesthetician at Physician’s Center for Beauty. She has over 20 years experience in the aesthetic field. She has trained with Palomar®, Cutera® and Wave Light® laser systems as well as Genesis® and Emed® for microdermabrasion and Silk Peels. Paula has received specialty training with Obagi products and Blue Peel application. She has taught continuing education courses to other aestheticians and provides laser training to other aesthetic professionals.
 

Dana McGowan

Dana is a licensed aesthetician with extensive training in facial techniques, skincare and laser hair removal.  She performs customized facials with marine-based products, is an expert in the use of chemical peels and has a special interest in eyebrow shaping.  She has an ability to visualize the perfect brow shape for the specific client and how it can compliment their individual features.  Dana is also a laser hair removal technician and she loves watching her clients reap the benefits during their sessions.

She adores being an esthetician because she loves helping, pampering and taking care of people.

Andrea Walt

Andrea is an aesthetician and assistant to Dr. Maguire.  She comes to Physician’s Center for Beauty with years of experience in the aesthetic field.  Working with Trish McEvoy cosmetics for several years, she served as a national trainer and makeup artist.  Andrea’s passion for aesthetics comes through to her clients and helping them be confident and comfortable is her ultimate goal.
